We all have them; experiences and opportunities. The older we become the more of both we have. Each of us makes decisions based on past experiences and future opportunities. My opportunity and decision to work as a Financial Coach is based largely on my life experiences.

WHO AM I?

Most important to me and of greatest inspiration, meaning and sometimes frustration, I am a father and husband. We have six children. Our three youngest live at home. We have two granddaughters.

Please don't expect a suit or even a tie. That's not me. My office is comfortable but not fancy. My goal is to listen more than I speak. Overall, I'm a simple guy with a strong sense of independence and determination.

I've had successes and I've had failures. I prefer the successes yet likely learned more from the failures. Have I been through the same things as you? Possibly, at least to some extent, if your life experiences have included a child born premature, or too much debt, divorce, being sued, lousy lawyers, bankruptcy, organ transplants, adult children making poor decisions, loved ones effected by cancer… Yes, we all have our experiences.

Like everyone, I've gone through challenges. Yet, I feel extremely grateful for the life that is mine to live and the opportunities that I've had. Though not of super personal importance I do have higher education achievements, including an Associates degree, a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree. More important, I have real life experience starting and opening multiple mostly successful businesses over the last 20-plus years.

AM I QUALIFIED TO BE YOUR FINANCIAL COACH:

I've been coaching people on various aspects of finances for multiple years. It started out as a hobby before turning into an actual career. My goal in this newest aspiration is to be a teacher of all things financial. I've been there, from hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt (credit cards, student loans, mortgages, business debt, etc.) to successful business ownership with no personal debt in the world. I can speak from lots of experience and I can say with confidence that being master of your finances brings a great amount of peace.

COACH, Put me in the game:

The title Coach is much different than the title Financial ADVISOR. Often the goal of an Advisor is to sell you a financial product or insurance which typically equals a larger commission. As a Coach my goals will always be your best interest as I guide and even nudge you towards your money related goals. This process should transform how you think about and treat your money I want you to be in charge of your money and no longer allow your money to be in charge of you. Let's get you there!
