Kona Ice is a family owned and operated full service dessert catering business specializing in tropical shaved ice.
We call our truck the KEV, or Kona Entertainment Vehicle. It provides a full sensory experience consisting of animated graphics, tropical tunes, cups of fluffy snow and the Kona Ice scent that continually surrounds the truck. The KEV is all about family fun and excitement.
No event is too big! We are able to serve up to 500 people per hour AND each participant gets to be in charge of their own flavoring. One of the best features of the KEV is the Flavorwave which is a row of do-it yourself spigots that dispense our top 10 most popular flavors!
Regarding electricity, the KEV has two solar panels on its roof which allows us (as needed) to operate for multiple days at a time without the need to plug in or use a generator. We can literally pull up and serve almost immediately, just tell us where to park!
